Fever Dream
Fever Dream
SEOM launched a concept photo project this past October, "Fever Dream", which is sneak peek into SEOM's identity, marking my venture into art direction and creative production. It is a robust three-day production with a team of five where we dive deeply into our practicing our crafts and producing much as we can. This is also an experimental take on tie dye shirts - monochromatic greens and peach was most appropriate style that suit the step towards apparel design. "Fever Dream" revolves around a group of friends embarking on a journey together, utilizing nature as their playground and engaging all their senses to immerse themselves in each fleeting moment. The primary focus lies on play, joy, fun, and interactive experiences. Each shot captures an interactive moment, offering a glimpse into the natural playfulness of the group. My intent was to authentically capture the essence of summer—the warmth and wonderful chemistry that unfolds when genuine connections among friends come to life. Although I am based in LA, Bend was the perfect place to shoot this project - not only because it was filled with unique trail spots that would compliment the overall vibe, Oregon itself is where I find myself sourcing creative inspiration the most. My adult years has been developed here and where I felt most like home (coming from someone who moved her entire years), as the biggest support system of friends lived there - It just made the most sense to choose Bend to produce this special project!

My inspiration comes from unconventional, playful and interactive photography - most with shots taken by Korean editorial photographers. Some of my sources including: Balming Tiger, Kira and Misha campaign, Vogue Italia 1999, and more. Every location has been calculated carefully of what kind of concept would suit with the following environment, styling options, weather, and amount of time we have to complete each set. Some of the ideas has been taken out due to lack of time and sources, but I see this as another opportunity to reserve it for next time as I continue to expand SEOM's brand and develop further details on future ideas.
