‘Secret Garden,’ is an immersive dining experience tucked away in a private backyard in Silver Lake. Imagine vibrant greenery, soft lights, and the irresistible scent of mouthwatering Sichuan cuisine wafting through the air. Sponsored by Suá, this intimate gathering isn’t just about food – it’s a celebration of community right in the heart of bustling in Los Angeles. Chelsea and I were inspired to create this special space as a response to the sometimes isolating nature of city life. We wanted to offer a third space where people could come together, unwind, and forge genuine connections.

This was birthed out of shared passion for cultivating community over the dinner table. Chelsea, an actress with a love for community building and hosting, especially within the AAPI artist community in LA, brings her unique perspective to the project. We merged our skills and knowledge together to start this journey. It made sense to start with local brands, such as Fly by Jing, Our Place and Sanzo. These brands share our passion for community, making them ideal partners for ‘Secret Garden.’ We aimed to craft content that not only showcased these incredible brands but also resonated with our audience on a deeper level.
